Travelling on the subway with his older sister to visit their mother in prison, Milo begins to observe the people around him and begins to imagine their lives and draws their stories in his sketchbook. A demonstration of how art therapy can be a powerful tool to help aid feelings difficult to express. The book also depicts the struggles for children who are away from their family.
