This beautifully illustrated picture book tells the story of all the people and animals who begin their day at night. Some individuals clean the trains and buses at night to prepare them for the busiest part of the day\u2014some people clean streets, stores, and workplaces in the evenings. There is a whole world of activity, from bakers preparing bread to hospitals caring for those who are ill and postal workers sorting our mail. There is also wildlife such as foxes foraging, bats flying, and owls hunting for prey. And around the world, some children are playing, learning, eating, and reading while we&#8217;re tucked up asleep.
