Canadian children’s author Robert Munsch is not for everyone. Although I’m a big fan, I don’t recommend him to all my friends because I worry that some may not appreciate the fact that none of the children in his stories make very good role models. A friend once told me that she doesn’t let her son watch Elmo’s World because Mr Noodle, one of its characters, always does the wrong thing (like putting his legs through a jacket’s sleeves), and she doesn’t want her son to imitate that. 為了慶祝今年的「世界朗讀日」（2012年3月7日），我們為九龍婦女聯會劉舜雯富昌互助幼兒中心安裝本會第149個圖書館項目，以鼓勵家長和孩子共讀一起體驗朗讀的力量。事實上，全球仍然有774萬人是沒有機會和能力閱讀或寫作，所以我們真很感謝法國國際學校慷慨捐贈這個圖書館到深水埗區，讓孩子可以在社區閱讀優質的兒童圖書。 特別感謝來自法國國際學校的家長Rebecca Smith及小學部校長Chris Chadwick，在剪彩儀式後為孩子朗讀故事。孩子們都非常享受這個說故事時間！ 讓我們今晚就用行動來慶祝「世界朗讀日」吧！
