Description
Lonnie Collins Motion, otherwise known as “Locomotion” is an orphan who is about to be transformed when his teacher introduces him to poetry. Suddenly, he has found a way to express all of the feelings he has packed away. The poetry is touching and poignant and beautifully transcribes the themes of love, loss and resilience. Locomotion was the National Book award.
