We are happy to invite Jack Chen and Cherry Choi to visit Hong Kong as part of our “Love to Learn” campaign in July. They will conduct a Kamishibai training workshop on Jul 18 and two Kamishibai storytelling sessions at our recipient sites on Jul 19. Modern Kamishibai uses characters and settings illustrated on paper to tell stories on a stage in a wooden case. In recent years, Kamishibai has been used as a storytelling technique to engage children to promote reading.
