To celebrate Christmas this year, Bring Me A Book collaborated with Sun Hung Kai Financial and Wellington Global Investment Management Ltd to organize “Reading for Fun” Christmas parties for underprivileged children. This meaningful and fun event was held at two of our library sites (Women’s Welfare Club Western District HK – Ap Lei Chau Kindergarten and Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children – Children & Family Services Project) on Dec 16 and 17, 2011. Both the children and the volunteers had great fun during the story and puppet making sessions. Santa Claus even joined in the fun, making it an even more memorable time for the children.
