Dr. Lin-wing Lok is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in paediatric and foot and ankle surgery. Raised in Canada and Hong Kong, she has been practicing in public hospitals for more than 15 years and is active in training young residents as well as medical students.
While exploring a playroom library with her children, she came upon the Bring Me A Book Hong Kong Read-Aloud Collection book recommendation guide and discovered the amazing organisation that promotes and cultivates reading and was encouraged to join them by her supportive husband. Her favourite authors are Bill Bryson and Kate Atkinson and she enjoys reading thrillers as well as investigative reporting books.
